Any passenger who has booked the ticket online can change the boarding station according to his convenience up to 24 hours in advance.
Railways also provide us the facility to change coaches on booked tickets. That is, we get the facility to upgrade the ticket from the railway side. If a passenger has booked a lower berth class, then he can change it and add the upper berth. We get this facility before and during the journey. Googleरेलवे का पोर्टल indianrailways.gov.in हमें सफर की तारीख बदलने के साथ-साथ बुक हो चुके टिकट पर बर्थ में भी बदलाव करने की सुविधा देता है | इसको कुछ इस तरह से समझा जा सकता है कि मान लीजिये आपने मुंबई जाने के लिए 31 मई की टिकट करवाई पर इस दिन आप किसी वजह से नहीं जा सकते | आप या तो 31 मई के पहले जा सकते हैं या फिर इसके बाद | ऐसे में आप सफर की तारीख 15 मई भी करा सकते हैं और 25 जून भी| यानि की आप सफर की तारीख को अपनी मर्जी से आगे-पीछे बढ़ा या घटा सकते हैं| इनमें कुछ सुविधाएं ऑफलाइन हैं तो कुछ ऑनलाइन|
आइये जानते हैं कि रेलवे में और किस तरह की सुविधाएं प्रदान की जाती हैं
- आप स्टेशन काउंटर जाकर बुक किये गए टिकट में अपने सफर की तारीख में बदलाव कर सकते हैं| लेकिन यह एक टिकट पर सिर्फ एक बार ही हो सकता है|
- यात्रा की तारीख में बदलाव ट्रैन के डिपार्टर से दो दिन पहले तक करवाया जाना चाहिए| बुक टिकट में यात्रा की तारीख बदलवाने की सूरत में आपको अपना टिकट रिजर्वेशन काउंटर में सरेंडर करना होगा|
- कई बार ऐसा होता है कि हम अपनी यात्रा को तय डेस्टिनेशन से आगे बढ़ाना चाहते हैं| इसके लिए टिकट चेक करने वाले स्टाफ से अपने अंतिम स्टेशन से पहले संपर्क साधना होगा या फिर अपने यात्रा के समाप्त होने के बाद|
- रेलवे यात्रियों को बोर्डिंग स्टेशन को बदलनवाने की भी सुविधा देता है| आई आर सी टी सी की वेबसाइट पर जाकर लॉगइन करने के बाद ही इस सुविधा का फायदा उठाया जा सकता है| ऑफलाइन टिकट पर बोर्डिंग स्टेशन बदलने की सुविधा नहीं दी जाती| कोई भी यात्री जिसने ऑनलाइन टिकट बुक कराया हो वो 24 घंटे पहले तक अपनी सुविधा के मुताबिक बोर्डिंग स्टेशन बदल सकता है|
रेलवे हमें बुक टिकट पर कोच बदलने की सुविधा भी देता है| यानि की रेलवे की तरफ से हमें टिकट को अपग्रेड करने की सुविधा मिलती है| अगर किसी यात्री ने लोअर बर्थ क्लास का टिकट बुक किया है तो वह इसमें बदलाव कर अपर बर्थ को जोड़ सकता है| हमें यह सुविधा यात्रा से पहले और यात्रा के दौरान मिलती है| यात्रा के दौरान हम टी टी इ से संपर्क करके इसमें बदलाव करा सकते हैं
