ऐप्स में मौजूद इन खामियों की वजह से हैकर बिना यूजर को भनक लगे उसके डिवाइस में मैलिशस कमांड्स दे सकता है। आईटी सिक्यॉरिटी एक्सपर्ट स्लावा मकावीव ने कहा, ‘तीन सुरक्षा संबंधी गड़बड़ियों का पता करीब दो साल पहले ही चल चुका है, जिनकी वजह से सैकड़ों ऐप्स रिमोट कोड एक्जक्यूशन का मीडियम बन सकते हैं।’ एक्सपर्ट का कहना है कि ऐसी स्थिति में यूजर्स अपने स्मार्टफोन और डेटा को सेफ रखने के लिए ज्यादा कुछ नहीं कर सकते। ऐप्स को इंस्टॉल न करना ही सेफ रहने का एक तरीका हो सकता है।
