दोस्तों, आज के दौर में पूरी दुनिया इस कोरोना वायरस की चपेट में आयी हुई। ऐसे में लोग अपने अपने जगहों पर फंसे हुए हैं। बहुत सारे जगहों पर लॉकडाउन भी लगा हुआ है, जिससे लोगों को अपने जानने वाले और रिश्तेदार या परिजनों से एक साथ सभी लोगों को चेहरा देखते हुए बात करने में मुश्किलें आ रही थी। क्यूंकि वीडियो कालिंग एप्प ज्यादातर 4 मेंबर्स एक साथ अल्लॉव करते थे, जिससे 4 से ज्यादा लोगों के साथ एक साथ बात करने में काफी मुश्किलें आ रहीं थी। यहाँ तक कि दुनिया का सबसे पॉपुलर इंस्टेंट मेसेजिंग एप्प व्हाट्सप्प में भी 4 लोगों के साथ ही वीडियो कालिंग हो पा रही थी। इन्हीं सब को देखते हुए सभी कंपनियों ने इसमें सुधार किया और बहुत सी कंपनियों ने नए एप्प को ही लॉन्च किया, जिसके बाद से 8 लोगों के साथ वीडियो कालिंग होने लगी। व्हाट्सप्प में भी 4 लोगों बढ़ा कर 8 लोगों तक के लिए किया गया। हालाँकि फेसबुक के तरफ से और भी वीडियो कालिंग एप्प्स लाए गए, जैसे कि फेसबुक मैसेंजर और मैसेंजर रूम्स, जिनमें ग्रुप वीडियो कालिंग को काफी बढ़ावा दिया गया। गूगल डुओ में 8 से बढ़ा कर 12 लोगों तक के लिए कर दिया गया। इसके आलावा बहुत सी कंपनियों ने ग्रुप वीडियो कालिंग में काफी बदलाव किये। अब फेसबुक की तरफ से एक और ग्रुप वीडियो कालिंग एप्प लॉन्च होने की तयारी में है। फ़िलहाल इसे अमेरिका में टेस्ट किया जा रहा है। टेस्टिंग के सक्सेस हो जाने के बाद इसे एंड्राइड के गूगल प्ले स्टोर और iOS के एप्प स्टोर पर पूरी दुनिया के लिए लांच कर दिया जाएगा। अब सवाल यह आती है कि पहले से बहुत सारे वीडियो कालिंग एप्प्स यहाँ मौजूद हैं, फिर इस CatchUp के नए में खास क्या है और यह दूसरी वीडियो कालिंग एप्प्स से कैसे अलग है ?
